Pakistan's ambitious National Super App, consolidating government services, document verification, and digital identity into a single platform, has cleared final development milestones and is advancing toward a nationwide launch.

Pakistan's National Super App, an ambitious unified platform designed to consolidate government services, digital document verification, and biometric identity functions into a single citizen-facing application, has advanced through final development and testing milestones, moving toward a phased nationwide launch. The initiative, championed by Federal Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja, represents Pakistan's most significant single investment in citizen-facing digital government infrastructure.

The Super App integrates identity verification, document issuance, payment of government fees, social protection benefit access, and real-time status tracking across multiple government departments. The biometric verification layer addresses Pakistan's longstanding challenge of document fraud, while the consolidated service architecture dramatically reduces the number of interactions citizens must have with different government offices.

The Super App's technology architecture draws on international govtech expertise and creates specific partnership opportunities for UK technology companies specialising in digital identity, biometric systems, citizen experience design, and government cloud infrastructure. UPTECH is monitoring the procurement pipeline closely and will provide members with early intelligence on partnership and contracting opportunities within the Super App ecosystem.
