The AI Indus Week Pakistan event was held in London, hosted by SK Hub UK, bringing together AI experts, industry leaders, investors, Commonwealth representatives, and British Pakistani diaspora for high-level dialogue on UK–Pakistan digital collaboration.

The AI Indus Week Pakistan event was held in London, hosted by SK Hub UK, a UK-based innovation centre and business group. The flagship policy and leadership conference brought together prominent experts in artificial intelligence, industry leaders, innovators, investors, entrepreneurs, representatives of the Commonwealth, and members of the British Pakistani diaspora for high-level dialogue on AI policy and bilateral technology cooperation.

Pakistan's High Commissioner Dr Mohammad Faisal delivered keynote remarks, emphasising that Pakistan is prepared, capable, and open to sustained, trust-based digital collaboration. The event spotlighted Pakistan's transition from cost-competitive outsourcing to a capability-driven digital economy delivering AI, fintech, SaaS, and cybersecurity solutions, with tech diplomacy positioned as a framework placing technology at the core of economic transformation.

A centrepiece of the London engagement was a UK–Pakistan roundtable on AI in healthcare, which presented a practical model for sectoral cooperation. The roundtable produced actionable outcomes including a national AI-enabled health data framework, pilot AI-integrated EMR systems, responsible AI governance frameworks, public–private partnerships, and specialised human capital development initiatives across both countries.

For UPTECH and its members, the London event demonstrates the growing international dimension of Pakistan's AI strategy. The Forum sees the UK–Pakistan AI healthcare roundtable as a template for sector-specific bilateral cooperation that can be replicated across fintech, education, and climate technology. UPTECH will facilitate follow-up engagement between roundtable participants and UK member companies with relevant capabilities.
